Ockham, a global functional service provider and oncology-focused CRO, came to Able&Co. having just acquired an overseas firm. It wanted to integrate the two teams, cultures and client bases into a new identity that would unify its vision moving forward. We approached the branding first by organizing the brand structure and key messaging to understand what makes it unique. The visual identity was developed based on global horizon intersected by a slash. This shows the line or path of strategic thinking, cutting across a global landscape, as well as solutions discovered through clinical trials. The identity was divided among three divisions: corporate, oncology and source. This brand vision was then developed across print and online advertising and marketing, a new robust website with a resource library, corporate videos and two trade show exhibits. This consistent look and revitalized brand played an important role in Ockham later being acquired by Chiltern International.
